Me too. I emailed Sean straight away....I had just read the latest on those kids in St. Louis and was nearly physically ill and stumbled on our site. What a mess! Thanks for fixing it ASAP.

I saw them too and they weren't nice.  When I searched on the name they gave, several dozen sites that they'd hacked showed up.  There is also one sight with their name only . . . . it's clearly a mid-east site with lotsa garbage on it.

Glad you guys were so on the ball and took that stuff down quickly.

Geez, am I glad I missed it.  My computer's been off line all weekend--my DSL jack went bad.  Wiring went bad, doesn't make sense to me...that's telephone technician gobblety gook that I just don't understand! :D  Here I was hoping to catch up on all the news and pics and NO PICS!!  Wow, I so love being here!  Thanks Sean and Jerry and all you wonderful pond people! o(:-)

Louis it appeard to be Middle Eastern.  There were images of dead Israeli childern.  Bloody and horrible.  Also animated torches burning israeli flags {-) {-)

OMG, I was sitting here looking at Bonnie's Kitty pics, then all of a sudden those nasty, awful, pictures came on my screen!! and kept comming on my screen, I was so shocked to see them, my brain just would not move on to anything else, and YES, MY STOMACH WANTED TO HURL TOO :'(

Safe?  we hope so, but when things like sept 11th happen and presidents getting assasinated, anything can happen.

I would not assume "Middle Eastern" in that case.  There are plenty of people elsewhere in the world who are opposed to Israel's actions.  How do you know they were Israeli children?

Anti-Israel does not equal "Middle Eastern" or even "Muslim."

The 50s were pretty good girl. Mistakes? Sure.  No we don't know if it was from the Middle East.  At the very least the perps made it look that way.  You asked, "How do we know they were Israeli children.  How do we know we really landed on the moon? How do we know we didn't attack ourselves on 911?  You can find conspiracy theorists everywhere.
Besides your caveats, the animation as well as the photos had clear intent even if the kids were from Timbukto.  Who ever did it was evil, pure evil!

My philosopy is this.  if a guy punches me in the nose everytime i see him, I will be ready when i see him coming toward me.  it's called "Post-Judice" not prejudice!
This belongs in Chit Chat anyway

PS: The FBI has been in touch and what they have to say makes me pretty confident it was from the the Middle East.  We were not the only ones hacked.
