Awwww  :'( , fall is a beautiful time of year with all the colors of the trees.  But I will welcome spring more, because it means another ponding/gardening season.

I have some cuttings I got just about a month or so ago.  I have pink, white, yellow and orange I think.  Some rooted some didn't.  I wasn't real sure if they would make it this winter since they aren't astablished yet.  So, I potted them in a couple big pots and placed them in the greenhouse.  They seem to be happy so far, will they be alright like this???  I tried keeping the colors separated, but dh decided to help me pot them up.  He grabed them all out of the containers and well....I couldn't tell who was who, or what was what.  I had done so well, taking the time to label each thing I had them rooting in.  Oh well, time will tell when they bloom.

Joyce,
Is it true that they have to form a Y before they will bloom? Mine are just growing straight up and they are first year plants. Should I nip off the top? would that make the plant form a Y? I much prefer Datura it bloomed all summer.

Kay, mine seem to bloom after branching off.
Not necessarily a 'Y', just branching off.
So I pinch mine off when it get's to the heigth I want it to be.
This particular Brugs has 6 branches.

Kim, they should be fine.  O0
My big Brugs is coming into the unheated garage for the winter.
If it survives....great,  if it doesn't, oh well, more room for another plant. 8)
I don't stress out or worry over plants any more. :D
Peace to all  ... Joyce
