Thanks everyone!

I love the smell of orange blossoms and we had a mini bloom of them from the Washington navel orange about 2 weeks ago.  There should be a great infusion of scents from the Valencia orange in May so that we can have fruit by year's end.  I am easily excited I guess because when I see a small fruit start I make sure everyone here looks at it!  @O@

The trick for a nice garden is to grow plants native to your area or similar areas.  This makes for very little work.  I think my thumb is only green from picking weeds!

It seems I always get to the oxalis when they have full seed pods that pop when I touch them  :'(.  So much for picking weeds  :D  My weeds love the mulch cover.  They seem to be greener when they grow up through the thick mulch  >:(

Nice pictures.  You're so lucky you live in zone 10 to have plants all year! :)

Beautiful pictures :) I guess most of us want more than just the plants that are native to us! Perhaps it's the challenge of growing exotic pretties, along with the gosh darn hard head too,  8-)~

Annette,

I love them all!

I have a calla lily in bloom right now in one of my water tubs, it looks a lot like yours.  They are very pretty and sturdy and the flower lasts a long time.
