Some tropical lilies in bloom...
« on: April 28, 2008, 11:14:15 AM »
Some tropical lilies in bloom today...

One of Craig's hybrids and one of mine.

I just topped up the pond and several of the buds that would have been open are still submerged, perhaps tomorrow they will open.
The color is off because there wasn't enough sun, it just stopped raining long enough to take the picture.

Cheers,
Sean

The one with the yellow center looks like it has an internal light inside there!

Sean, they are very nice, why don't you give your lily a name like 'Cheers'  O0
You can use flashlight when you shooting the blooms and you won't have any off-color waterlilies pics.
Thank you for emailed me about Garet, I was going to wait until I hear from him so have something to report back  to you but still haven't heard from him yet.
Kat also nice enough to send me link to Garet's site and a group in Hawaii, but they got deleted by Yahoo just right when I joined.

Man those pads look great! Not to mention your blooms! I am hoping I will get a few any day now, I can see the buds just below the surface on a few..

Which is which?
Is it one of Craig's named or an unnamed he sent you.
Which lily is yours? Have you named it.

Jerry,

Are you saying that your waterlillies were one color last year and they are all white now?  What causes that?  I've ordered waterlillies in the past that were peach, orange looking and purple and ALL of them bloomed WHITE!  Help!
