Tim,

Nice lily.  Is it a deep pink or a light red, kind of hard to tell.  Whatever it is, it is great!

It's official description is a vivid fuschia.
It is one of Kirk Strawn's living Masterpieces.
The color can grab you from 20 yards away.

In fact it is so rich, it was the first hardy I bought. I tend to lean towards tropical waterlilies but have recently acquired about 50 new hardy varieties.
It is still one of my favorite among the hardies.

Very striking!  The colors in water lillies are so strong.  And then coupled with the contrast of the usually dark water as a backdrop they really pop.

50 new varieties!  Sounds like you have a water lily farm going there.  I bet spring is fun when it's time to divide and re-pot all of those.   :o  Do you have a shot of the whole operation?

No shot of the whole thing as it is spread out and I am working on it every spare moment between my 60+ hour regular job.

@O@  Mayla is beautiful...this is the third spring with mine.  The first bloom came up while I was at mothers for a week...now I have to wait for the second one.
