I haven't been around much as my parents are still here and we have been busy going threw DDH things, having an auction and huge Y/S comming up. it's been tough. But! I did how ever trade in DDH truck and got this wonderful little Jetta VW. I love it even tho it's a BIG change for me. I have always driven a big truck. I still have my big Dodge tho, couldn't part with her.

Steve in Debbie's case DDH may be deceased darling husband. She's had a tough year or more.

Debbie, That is cute. Good choice. You'll get used to it eventually. It will sure be easier to park and weave around through traffic. It probably will do a lot better on gas mileage too.

I had wondered where you were but figured you were Happy outside girl.

I still have my big truck too, but I love parking the "little green car" that I have!  Much easier.  And the gas mileage is great!

Thank You Esther your right on the mark. It gets min. 30 mpg city and min 37 Hwy. Only holds 14 gals of gas. LOL! My dodge holds 35 gals. and at $ 4.79 per gal and only 18 running around Yikes!!!!! So I'm hopeing this will really help cut costs. I have to admit it is a ball to drive. Never thought I would ever use Volkswagon and sexy in the sam sintance tho

Debbie, I don't know about sexy, but that sure is a cute little car!    I would consider switching to a smaller car for the gas mileage...although I do love the trunk size on my Intrepid. 

I'm sure you'll enjoy your new little Jetta!!   

I hope your yard sale is very successful.  I sure need to have a BIG one.

Thanks Sandye, I'm startting to enjoy it a lot more that I thought I would. being a truck lady.
I hope the Y/S does well too. Not only could I use the cash, I need to get rid of a ton of stuff. All the stuff I took to auction went and I didn pretty well  wise.

Nice car. I hope your YS goes well. We went through that once, and it did provide a lot of emotional closure. The financial part was good, but the emotional closure part was better.
