Loan is now Approved!

The bank called today and our loan for the 20 acres with Double Wide Home and large POND is now Approved!
Now the Land and Title company has to do their job and everything will be good to go.

It even appraised for $15,000 more than what we are paying for it which surprises us because of it being a Double Wide Home and the value on land is usually not appraised for much value for some reason. ( or that's what we were told when we were going to purchase the 43 acres before)

Anyway, so far so good as far as that's concerned.  We really needed some good news because it's been really bad around here..it's been one thing after another. >:(- :'( >:(-
Landslide not only caused the damage of the land itself but the lilypond, gazebo, electrical, pond filter system.. cracked the septic leachlines, kinked our main water line in 3 different places, etc. etc..

Now today our we had to replace our refrigerator so there went more money! :'(

My aunt and uncle in cal. had one of those double wides and it was fantastic.

Bonnie, oh my gosh that's a lot of stuff going wrong all at once. The future looks pretty good, though. Once you get through this, you'll have that dreamy property. Congrats on the loan!

Hey thanks all!

Joyce, not sure when we will actually move into the double wide home.. for now we have so much work to do on our current home and property and are just going to make the new property our weekend get away.
We know that it's best financially to sell our current home and move ASAP but at this point we might not officially move in for a year or so.   

We WILL have to build pond beforehand because I have decided not to put the fish in the mudpond.  (DH and I haven't talked this thru yet but he knows that I will not go without my fish)


Bonnie and Kim, remember both of you are still gonna be 2-2.5 hrs away.. O0

Steve, our plans are to have the double wide moved off of the property and to build a home once we have the loan paid off.   The double wide is a nice small home but it's not the home that we want.     
Jump on that motorcycle anytime to come fishin;! o(

Karen and Tammie, it's really been overwhelming.   And Tammie I hope you are right and this is just a start to our good luck for once! :D
