DFW area--baby goldfish & tadpoles
« on: May 20, 2008, 06:14:42 PM »
Some of my sarassa & regular goldfish must have spawned on some plants that I transferred to the kiddie pool that was supposed to be just for tadpoles. If you are in the DFW (Plano) area, pickup only, you are welcome to some baby (about 1/2") goldfish & some tadpoles. Legs are starting to show on some of the tads. Donations to go towards fish food would be appreciated but not necessary.

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

Kat, I just transported about 200 toady poles to the pond down the street.  Have about 200 more to go.  I'll leave about 50 in the new lily pond.

Sounds like your toads were quite fertile, LOL.  A lot of my tadpoles have graduated out of the kiddie pool.  Hopefully most of them will not stay behind.  Just a few would be nice.  I found my outdoor kitty chasing the frogs  >:(-  I can also tell when one has been in with the lotus because they'll get the duckweed into the lily ponds  ::)
