plant newbie ?
« on: June 28, 2008, 03:26:18 PM »
I have a creeping jenny that has so many legs its gonna get up and walk!  How do you divide this plant?  The branches have tons of roots, can I snip and plant?  How do I thin out the pot?  And...  I have a mosaic, that is going crazy.  Same question regarding thinning.  Hopefully its okay to post this here.  Any and all help would be appreciated.  thank you.

Kamala---creeping jenny is extremely easy to divide or get cutting from...just snip-snip and plant in dirt ....the same for mosiac just snip it off and pot it up....

By the way...you do know that creeping Jenny is just money wort which is an awsome ground cover...they change the name when they sell it as a water plant...I have both the green and golden forms and mix them them up in the landscape and just let them mingle--it really looks good like that...

Kamala,
Would you be interested in trading a start of your Mosaic plant for a perennial, I have many varieties I can trade?
