How do you winterize parrots feather? We live in zone 7 and have a 10,000 gal pond with varying depths up to 5'-0". We know how to winterize all of our other plants but parrots feather. Our PF are in 1 gal containers and not free floating/potless. Thank you in advance for any assistance!

sink it down to where the pot will not freeze....I live in zone 6b and am able to leave it outside and it returns every year....but, as a precaution I would sink it a bit....

I sink it but I also float cutting in aquariums or in tubs in the basement for the winter. I have lights also.

I'm in 8 and I don't do anything to it other than cut it back. I do not sink anything, I had bad luck the time I did, so everything stays where it is.
If you have more than one, I'd try different methods to see what works best for you.
