New little pond puddle for the
« on: July 02, 2008, 09:03:31 PM »
babies.  I was on the way home one day at the end of summer last year and saw this little preform.  The house had either evicted the people or forclosed on.  The stuff they didn't take with them was sat out for the garbage.  This was sitting there, and we stopped and went and asked a neighbor about it.  He said to take it, that the people had been gone for a month.  People had came and cleaned out the left over junk from the house and garage.  Didn't look like it was ever used.

Didn't really know what I would do with it, until now.  We decided to go ahead and bury it and make it a baby puddle for babies.  I put a couple of my tropicals that I overwintered in it, and I found a bud tonight.  I'm tickled.

Its very small, but big enough to home a couple tropicals.  I can't complain it was free.

The lighthouse looks perfect with it Kim!

At our new farm/property there's a very small preform in the 'bird sanctuary' that is only 10-12" deep.. I've gotta do something with it yet.   Pulled up all the weeds around it but that's it.
