They just mowed, which sprays grass clippings into the pond...but that becomes fertilizer for MORE BLOOMS!  O0

They are hardy, planted in the mud, spread by runners.  :D
Every year they come up on their own.  8)
The seeds are mostly eaten by finches and other seed eating birds. ::)

I think we would all love to come to that sea of lotus!  I am sure the pics don't even do it justice.  They are gorgeous though.  :)

What a paradise.  I was looking through your pics and you have some wonderful pictures.  There was a few of the construction of your pond.  I think it was this one.  If it was, boy it is huge and your house is lovely.
