Wow, I would think such a small dog wouldn't have a very big litter. Get of a pic of all of them when she is finished, OK.

Awwwwww!!!

I would love to have a pug (or Boston Terrier), but my DH and kids are allergic. We'll have to get some sort of a poodle mix someday.

I believe she's done, and the total is 5. We will be going to the vet in the morning, to have momma checked along with the pups. We're doing everything right. Momma had already had a vet check before hand, during and tomorrow morning.

We woke this morning to 3 more, and while we were getting ready to take her to the vet she had another one.

The vet said to see how it goes during the first 24 hours, if alot of whinning we may have to supplement for her.

Nope Esther. We had 5 when we went to bed, woke to 3 more and she had one more when we were getting ready for the vet.

Total of 9

The vet said 5 is a big liter for a pug, but she has 9 buttons. He also said if the pups didn't sound content in the next 24 hours, we would have to supplement their feedings (every two hours), glad there are five of us in the household.

Oh, they all got good check-ups today along with momma.

Pitcher (he has a white paw, looks like a glove) Vet said that was rare for them to have a white paw...Oh well, he's cute

:'( sad news, despite what I tried with the runts, we have lost 3. They were the smallest by far. We were worried about these 3 from the beginning. Its just natures way I suppose, still sad though. So far, the others seem to be fine. Its almost like she had 2 litters, with 2 main runts, and one close to it.

She'll be better able to handle feeding them now I suppose.

I remember on the farm how we'd take the runt baby piggies and put them in a box behind the wood stove in the kitchen. Now when I think of it, my mom must have gotten up in the night to feed them.

Kim, I'm sorry you lost the 3 runts. Nature has a way, but it's sad for us people. I think Esther is right, it'll make the job a little easier for Mom. That was a big litter! Those babies are so cute.

We're "in the market" for getting a dog. We went to Save A Pet and were looking at rescued beagle mix puppies, but they didn't call us back. I'm thinking they had serious health problems as they were being treated for a few different things.

Gosh, if we only lived closer you'd have a good candidate for one of your adorable pug puppies!

There was one that had me watching it today after I got home. I just bottle fed it, didn't nurse on it much. So I got out a med dropped and gave it .05 cc. Then two hours later it was alot more squirmy. Then by the third feeding, it was taking the bottle. Still not sure how much it is getting because these silly little bottles are marked in ounces, instead of cc's. So, before I put it back I take the dropped and give it the .05cc's, but during the third feeding using the eye dropped, it was sticking its tounge out for it. Each time I would put a tiny little drop on its tounge. We had a little rythem going. I think all will be fine now (I sure hope).

How cute!!! I love pugs, and have always wanted one, but hear that they are the worst about shedding... My chihuahua sheds more than enough for me... That's a good thing about Shih-tzus I guess, but I have yet to meet a shih-tzu that I like. Sorry about the 3 you lost- hope the rest do great!

Well, we ended up loosing 1 more on Tuesday. She was also pretty small. We have 5, that are growing like weeds. I swear this one we've been calling haus (sp) grows by the hour. He's so stalky, even his tail is thick. I'm in love with the two boys. Gonna be hard selling them, but I have to stick with it.

I'll take some up to date pics this weekend.

I love puggsels. That's so cute. I am having trouble with my dog at the moment and I am dreading the performance, its a big dog and looks like the "crusiate" ligamnet has gone or something. AAAAAAAAAAh dogs, it never ends.

Nice to see all is OK with mum and the rest of the Bb's.
