Yup! I had to grow mine from seed again cuz the mother plant died. :'(
I think after 7-8 years of producing tons of flowers and seed pods, it finally died.

Steve, it seems to like the cooler weather.
Last year mine bloomed until there was ice on the pond.
Even through a few hard frosts, as long as the water surface didn't freeze, it bloomed! O0

Lovely little lily . . . DD#1 is already planning next year's pondlet and I think that would be a wonderful addition.  Next year, we're going to get a nice ceramic tub so she'll have room for two small lilies.
