  Hello all, thought I'ld share some pics from this last weekend.  My youngest brother had a week stay back home across the summer from the Naval Academy where he is attending school.  A great reason to have some friends over to the house for drinks and some texas style bar-b-q !    The next day Maria and I took him to part of the Guadalupe river for some fishing and kayak fun in the sun !

STILL LOOKING FOR MY PERFECT LIGHT SCONCE, SO IN THE MEANTIME,...MY MAKESHIFT COVER ?!?!


OFF TO THE RIVER NOW.... MARIA.


SOME WADE FISHING ACTION... LITTLE BROTHER WAS MY LURE RETRIVAL STUCK-N-LOG GUY ?!?!?


DAVID SCORES THE BIGGEST LARGEMOUTH BASS ! WAY TO GO LITTLE BROTHER !


AND THE SMALLEST ALSO GOES TO DAVID WITH THIS SUN PERCH.


FLOAT AND FISH ON THE RIVER.


MARIA CATCHES THIS GUY UP AGAINST THE ROOTS.


CATFISH ON A ARTIFICIAL CRANK ?!!  THAT'S WEIRD !


WADE FISHING IN THE SHALLOWS-- WATER WAS PERFECT !


LOADS OF FUN ON A LAZY SUNDAY IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS !

Great photos Carlos.  Thanks for sharing.  Makes me want to visit San Antonio.  You must be proud of your little brother.  Attending the Naval Academy is quite an achievement.

Love the Guadalupe river.  Planning on tubing there in a couple of weeks!  You're lucky to live so close. It's a 5 hour drive for us!

    Actually---- ur right--- they are actually Guadalupe bass NOT true largemouth bass !?!??!
found a link just the other day that shows the distinction--- some kinda sub-species of largemouth.
heck-- -who cares--- they still are great fighter fish for the size ;)

Man, you're giving me the craving to go tubing again, on the Guadalupe River.  Been years since I've done that, and it's soooo fun.  Needs ta GO!!
