My Pond 2
« on: July 22, 2008, 09:04:50 AM »

Here is another photo of my pond. This time I took it at dusk so that I could show you the lighting that I have around it. Also,a photo of my small bubbling pool that I put in last year that made me catch the "Pond Bug'.

SO far I've had lots of problems with the pond bug...ok, not such a problem but lots of work building a new one!  @O@

Very nice natural style ponds.  Are those large rocks from your property or bought?

Annette ,thank you very much. The larger rocks I bought at a local dealer. I got a real good deal on them. I paid a little over $100.00 for a ton of them.

Steve ,thank you very much. I also would like to add some underwater lighting someday to the pond

Very nice, Rick.  In the first pic, it appears to be 2 ponds.  Do they share the same filtration?  Do you have a pic of your waterfall?  I always enjoy looking at other people's waterfall.  It get my kicks that way.   :D

Thank you all again. Yes,both ponds share the same bio-filter filtration system. Actually, the upper pond keep most of the sludge from getting into the lower pond. My lower pond is sludge free so far. The lower pond location was where I had our swimming  pool last year. So most of it was dug out already.

I hope my solar lights last that long also. All total in my backyard I have 26 solar lights. The others I put them along the border of my fence .

Here is a link from a thread that I posted earlier here that shows my two waterfalls
