Yes indeed, Happy Thanksgiving to my northerly neighbors!  Is turkey a tradition in Canada?

Thanks Bart.  Hope all my fellow Canadians had a great long weekend.  We had turkey on Sunday and again last night.  Think we have several dinners left in that bird yet.  Mmmmm, good!  For the first time in years we didn't have a house full of relatives.  We missed that but we really enjoyed what was a beautiful, warm fall weekend in central Ontario.  Because it was just our own family here for Thanksgiving I was able to finish filling in my new bog, wouldn't have been able to get near it if we had had a houseful.  Planted some sphagnum moss and some small creeping cranberry that I collected back in August.  Think it will be quite a while before there are enough cranberries for Thanksgiving dinner though!   ;D  emm

We had a gorgeous Thanksgiving weekend here in the Maritimes. The temps got up into the low 20's. Went for a hike to see the fall colours and got back in time for turkey with all the trimmings. Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!
