Vickie, will trade you with my 101F and heat index up to 108F :(.  Sigh...  I think relieve in in sight.  Well, it will drop below 100F by Wednesday, so said the weatherman.   @O@  Can't believe I get excited about 99F.  If it gets below 95F, I will need to break out my sweaters!!!   ;D :D

My Mom called from near Austin on Friday to tell me that it was hot...they were 100* for the first time all summer.  We were over 100* the first week of June.  108* two days last week, 100* two days and a pleasant 88* last Wednesday.  I really rather it be 100 in the summer than ZERO in the winter...but here we get the pleasure of both in the same year.

I was cold this weekend. Overcast and raining here on Friday and then overcast much of the days Sat and Sun. Had to put blanket back on the bed and get out a long sleeve shirt.

High humidity and thunderstorms here. Power went out for 2 hours. Very humid and unstable air. Love it.  :D Tornado vortexes as well, nearby. I hope nobody gets hurt, but it sure is magnificent to watch nature's fury.

Don't care cuz my daughter got home from NYC today and she survived.  Unharmed. o(:-) o(:-) o(:-) but tired.  'Nothin better than that.  o(:-)

You guys have my sympathy. We have had a beautiful summer so far. Top temp was maybe 90 or so. Humidity has come and gone from time to time. We have had nice rains periodically so have not had brown grass in the lawn. The crops are doing very well.

Seeing I'm retired now and the income dropped dramatically, (LOL) and DH was layed off during the winter and still has short weeks, I have been trying to conserve on spending so have only turned on the AC one day when we had company. If the temp got higher than 90 and the humidity was high, I don't think I could stand to not run the AC.
