 Some Plants we will fill it with.

Looks like a beautiful spot for it! I keep saying one of these days I am tackling this project, but never seem to get around to it! :-\

I would keep an eye on that guy watching you through your fence. He looks a little odd! {:-P;;

 YES  8-)~I am a flower addict of all kinds. Even on on old dishes, pottery cases etc. I'll post pictures of my vintage flower form pottery vases sometime...shaped like lilies, hyacinth etc...from 40's.
I love water and have always wanted a pond. We decided to start small as we may sell and move in a few years.

I know what you mean...my garden is what keeps me here.  After all the hard work and years of seeing treelings grow into trees, I couldn't bear to move away and start over.  Same goes with the ponding, and I too am starting small (very small).  Love your ponding corner.  :)
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

I know...I think about all the flowers and trees I have planted here and the thought of leaving them all behind and starting over is hard.
There was nothing here when we moved here four years ago. Not to mention the $ spent.
When we go, I will take starts of many plants and a few things like the hibiscus & peonies that were stars from my mothers bushes and my snowball bush from my grandmothers bush. This was a bush she has when I was a child, so it is 40+ years olf and my dad took a cutting off of it and it grew in sand in back bed for probably 7-8 years and never got very big, it was a mere sapling...poor conditiions probably. But in one year at my place, it big and gorgeous when it blooms.

Well, we started out Friday afternoon. Husband decided to go buy a new cordless drill as his didn't have much power.  New one from Lowes $90. Got it home and worked till dark, battery dead--put it on to charge. Now mind you there are two batteries and the next morning, neither one had held a charge. Takes it back to Lowes, I send him to Harbor Freight to get a new drill for less instead of Lowes. Found one for $20. BUT we have to wait for it to CHARGE. I told him to just go but a regular electric drill and run a cord out. He didn't see fit to do this...so he worked until drill power ran out and then had to wait for it to charge to return to work. (I just don't get that) So he didn't finsih until just now.
Took Friday, Sat & Sunday.
He is GETTING a CORDED drill weither he wants one or not for his birthday.

I won't even mention what happened with the mitered corners on the top trim boards that weren't even in the instructions I found here..... {:-P;;

Wow, your snowball shrub is doing great.  Maybe if it gets any stray "shrublings" you could send one my way?  I lost my snowball shrub start (it was a mail order plant), never got started.  I would be glad to pay the postage.

Sure. I don't think there are any babys but I could certainly take a cutting for you. Do you have root hormone? I can send you a bit of that, doesn't take much. Put it in some sandy dirt or sand I think will work and keep it watered.
PM me your name/address.

Wow, you got that finished really quick, despite all the drill charging fiascos, and it looks great ;D
I have had similar issues with rechargeable drills.  Hubby thinks he needs one for even one screw.  For heavens sake, whatever happened to regular old screwdrivers and elbow grease. >:(-
Love your snowball bush.  I have a couple different kinds but have been disappointed with them.  The snowballs tend to set back in the foliage and you can't see them.

Karen

Very nice!  We built one like that two, but still haven't trimmed the liner or made the top boards.  We will probably be moving again (just not sure where and when yet) and I figure it will be easier to move this way.
