My grandparents were trappers, they would pack up all 10 kids for the trapping season.  My Dad taught us, I did not do much trapping, mainly my brothers, all pelts were sold....depending on the varmint, some were kept to eat.... I did not aquire the hunting/trapping love as did 3 of my 4 brothers, but I did aquire the taste for many different meats.  May sound wrong to some, but it was a way of life and money was scarce with 8 kids.
