Yard Cleanup
« on: October 13, 2006, 02:06:25 PM »
This is stage 1 of my yard cleanup
Tomorrow everything goes out to the front. I dd manage to get the pond areas cleaned up today after I knocked everything down.
The second picture is the shade garden. I didn't knock everything down, mostly the hostas and the ligularia. I did pull all of the annuals that I planted two years ago. I think the dumb things would have kept going. They were supposed to be one year temps.

I'm finished! @O@

There are two piles like this. The village picks them up and it goes to our village compost pile.

The poor hostas :(  That's a huge pile of debris!  Puppy guarding the pile is cute....  How much longer before it's all covered in snow?

Never know about the snow. Some years we cry because we don't have a white christmas. And then I can remember hunting in mid Nov. wearing snow shoes.

Well you've motivated me now.  We had our first rain of the season last night which reminded me I need to take the hose and clean out the roof gutter......

I've got to go outside and do the same thing.  I should go do it now.  I might when it warms up a little her in a couple hours.
