Meet Pixel, the newest member of our family

We finally took the plunge and added a puppy to our family. We chose a poodle mix to help minimize any allergy issues. Pixel is a female cockapoo. We picked her out this evening and are trying our first night of crate training. My boys are thrilled about her!!

OMG, what beautiful fur!  What a beautiful puppy!      I love that curly, shiny black fur.

Congratulations, Jessica.  I think Pixel was a wonderful choice.  (As opposed to my beautiful, huge, white Great Pyrenees who sheds constantly. )

Oh, she's precious!  The curly hair and the beautiful eyes, she is going to be a smart and wonderful dog.  I also love the name, one black dot, a pixel.

We drove about 50 miles north to buy her. On the way, we brainstormed names. I personally liked Moxie or Darcy, others suggested were Dig Dug and Pixie. DH picked up on Pixie and compromised on Pixel. We all agreed and so it was decided!

She is adorable. I can just imagine how thrilled your boys, AND YOU, are. She has the bluest eyes. Will they stay blue I wonder. We have had 3 miniature poodles over the years and never had any other type of dog. YOur Pixel will probably be pretty smart. The poodles sure are.

Jessica, Congrats on a a great looklng puppy with acute name! We recently bought a Golden Doodle which is a poodle mix and also black. She is very smart and does not shed at all and very smart. I am sure you and your family are going to love Pixel.
