Some guy was riding down the highway near our home and saw her laying in the ditch beside the highway. He stopped and gave her water and called Animal control who called us via the tattoo in her ear. Amazingly enough after over 2 months, she looks to have suffered no ill affects. She's a little skinnier, her back hips look more sore and she's stiffer, and there is one spot on her hind end that looks like she had a matt that someone took off along with some skin, but there is no sign of infection or or any sores. Her thyroid is totally out of wack though and she's lost the remaining hair on her tail. She does not look like she's been out there in the elements for 2 months by herself... I'm guessing that someone had her and she escaped. but whatever the reason, she's back and resting on the couch beside me.
