purplepsnhn2004,

Try:

Right click on the Alabama flag a few posts up of mine.  Select PROPERTIES.  Right click on that URL, select COPY.  Copy it to your profile.

Tonya, it's been a while since I've been through Bay Minette. If you want the waving flag, it's not from Wunderground. It's from the other link. The second flag in my signature is the Alabama flag. I'm originally from Alabama, up around Birmingham.

This is the link for the animated Alabama flag.

http://3dflags.com/art/comps/usaal01/3dflags_usaal01-0003a.gif?1190713876

To get it to show, you need to place it as an image. Use the image code {img}{/img} except with different brackets. I should look something like this:
        {img}http://3dflags.com/art/comps/usaal01/3dflags_usaal01-0003a.gif?1190713876{/img}
When you use the right brackets, you get this:

I hope that helps.

Scott,

Thanks for the info on the waving flag!   I like it.  I think I will use both (I like the one with the time, temp., etc. too).

I don't post alot, and if you've ever read any of mine, I'm originally from SD (born in IA).  I moved to the lovely state of AL in Nov. 06, loving it!!!

Thanks again!

Marla,

Try adding this at the beginning before the http .  That's how I finally got it to work!  And believe me, it took me a while!  Good luck and hope you're not working too hard today...

My last post showed a box with a red x - type the img in the brackets again, but lowercase img.  Then at the end type the bracket, with a backslash / lowercase img and another bracket and it should work.

I'm going to beg you guys to keep these as small as possible. Moving gifs trigger migraines for me and there are some message boards I cannot view because there are so many dang winking blinking gifs and I'd sure hate for this one to be on that list.  :(
