Don't bother ringing my doorbell because that is all you'll hear. Pete and I usually hide in the den and turn out all the other lights. But this year I had invited my dad and his wife for supper today seeing they are leaving for Florida shortly. Then I invited my son, his wife and kids (Braeden's family). So Dawn says, "Oh good. We can trick or treat from your house." I said, "WHAT???" She said, "Yeah, it's Halloween you know." "OH!" So I fixed a big supper. Kevin and Dawn took their 4 out and Naomi and I sat at the kitchen table with just the stove hood light on. Pete and my dad dissappeared to the den which is on the back of the house. I am such a party pooper.

Sean, your adorable little Phoebe is so skinny!
But adorable o(:-)

My 2 kids went trick-or-treating, and came home to a decent, healthy meal. After the meal, however, all the candy got spread around on the carpet for trading and organizing.  :) Good deals were made and lots of candy was eaten. This is a big CHEAT day for me, so I ate Butterfingers, Peanut Butter Cups, Heathbar, Snickers, Swedish Fish, arrrgh. Way too many treats for me.  ;D

We're still looking for a puppy.  :'(

I visited Phoebe in person a couple weeks ago. She is of healthy body weight and not skinny.  O0 she just has long legs that she hasn't grown into yet.

Cute Halloween pets.  Love Phoebe's hairdo.  Didn't dress my dog up but she was a big help handing out treats.  Actually, she just sits at the door and wags her hind end for each group of children that arrives.  On Cass's very first Halloween she learned to sit quietly at the door, no jumping permitted when visitors knocked.  It was a super great training session, tons and tons of opportunity for positive reinforcement.  ;)  emm

I thought it would be neat if my "Halloween Kitty" (she is a calico with white bright orange and black) woud sit by the front door to great the children.  Or at least on the window sill.  No such luck...she and the other female cat took off in a flash and were not seen for the remainder of the night after the first door bell rang.  The older male cat just sat in his "throne" looking grumpy all evening.
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

Fiona is quite lovely and queenly.

Cats are so funny and unpredictable sometimes.  It's probably better that they took off and hid, people do mean things to cats on Halloween.  >:(

Phoebe is adorable in her costume!
And Jessica, your new pup is a cutie too.

My kitty is the only one that dresses up. She had her spooky spider collar on. ;)

Here's the three that went out from my house. Eliana of course is dressed as the angel she is. Ian is a captured crook. The cop with Ian in hand is Braeden. He's holding up his stick. Evidently kept whacking Ian with it.

Esther, my son looked just like Braeden. He was a Police Officer. I'll try and get my pics uploaded tomorrow. We had family here this week and my DD lost the camera.  >:(-
I found it where she said she already looked.  &-) :swear:
