Ok, I have to admit, I thought it was impossible until hubby did it.  Once I saw them switched over, I tried a little harder.  But, I still can't just sit down and do it the first time.  In my mind, I keep them "every other one", that probably doesn't make sense, but it work's for me.

Just keep trying.

the "secret" is that before you move a frog, make sure one of the other colored frogs can jump over it with a place to land.  The first move is a given, the second move is where you apply the "secret".  If you move a frog next to one of the same color, then you're done...unless, of course, you're at the end of the game.  A hint is this: not every move is a jump over another frog.

Thanks for the hints, Blind 'Too!!  It was obvious before, but somehow your words made it all make sense.  Got it on the second try after reading your advice.  I had tried upwards of 20-30 times before!!!

Since some of you enjoyed the leap frog test I thought you might like this one.
I remember doing it years ago with our kids, when we first got internet service.  I did a search and found it. @O@
It involves water too. ;)

Here's the link:  http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf

It's in chinese, so here are the rules.

Rules of game:
Only 2 persons on the raft at a time.
The father cannot stay with any of the daughters without their mothers' presence.
The mother cannot stay with any of the sons without the fathers' presence.
The thief (stripped shirt) cannot stay with any family member if the Policman is not there.
Only the father, mother and Policeman know how to operate the raft.
To start click on the big blue circle.
To get people on the raft click on them.
To get the boat across the river click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

Esther, maybe you'll have better luck with this one O0

this one was much easier to figure out. if you just keep going over the rules, you will figure it out.    at least this one didn't take me forever like the last one.

esther, here is something that helped me.  i had the post with the rules on the left hand side and then the game pulled far over to the right.  i was always looking at the rules.  once you get a couple over and then kill a couple i bet it will finally come to you.  we know how amazing you are with everything else.  don't let this one defeat you.   i know you can do it.  if i can, then believe me, anyone can.  just keep going over the rules.  you will kill or hurt some over and over until you keep looking at the rules.  there is no other way to win other than looking at the rules.
ladybug
i tried to do a screen shot of the finished ending, but where the heck does the screen shot print when you press screen shot??  great!! something else that will nag me to death >:(

I only got the thief over but then if the policeman comes back, there is no way to get any family member over without leaving the thief with a family member seeing the adults have to run the raft. If I take the policeman back after the thief is over and pick up mother, father will kill the girls, if father goes over, mother will kill the boys, if policeman takes a kid, thief will kill the kid. So I'm stumped.

OK so he takes the kid over after the thief but then he goes back. But then you can't leave the kid with the thief because the thief will kill the kid when the cop goes back. {nono}

Hey Esther,

I feel for you!  I tried that game over and over.  Then I finally got it, but, as soon as I got it and tried again (go figure, couldn't for the life of me, do it again).

I just tried to open that game Karen posted, sounds interesting, but won't open for me, anyone else having that trouble.  Guess I'm a glutten for punishment, I like games that take some brains, but I do get a little frustrated!

Anyone else go to the site with the leapfrog game, get rid of the ending (home page) and look at any of the other stuff on the site?  It's pretty cool.  Laughed my ass off (LOL) at a lot of the stuff.  Was occupied with that site for a little over an hour yesterday.

Esther, so the cop brings the thief back, leaves the kid alone, and two other adults go over. ;)
