I'm glad it is coming to a close, it is a sad case but the media has kept in the forfront a bit to long IMO. I hope they do find out who did it, just awful.

Overwhelming evidence and logic point to the mom who is white trash.
Hasn't anyone been following this story on the news?

The mother has been in jail for months arrested for this childs murder.
It's been a top story for 6 months at least.

And I don't watch the news that much...

you know i try not to watch the news too much,being a paramedic for 11 yrs and also working for 911 for 12 hrs a day and night i heard and saw enough sad things to last a lifetime... lorraine

That's why I don't watch either...I have enough pain in my life.

It's just that Kaylee's story has been unavoidable, everyone is talking about it everywhere I go.
And she looks SO MUCH like Jamie did when Jamie was 3. I would have taken her in if it meant saving her life.
I will take any child in if it meant saving a life.

I really hope this is little Caylee so people can mourn and she can be given a proper burial. (saying this because it's pretty obvious that she is dead but it would be GREAT if she was alive)
I'm sure 'the mother' will blame it on Zenita, blah, blah though but it will help the prosecutors with their case against her if a body is found.

Joyce you are right about her looking like Jamie when she was little, actually I think she resembles many little brown haired brown eyed 3 year old little girls, that is why they've had these sightings which some claim are probably Caylee. ( I have a painting of DD of that age and she resembles her alot except DD's hair was alittle curlier and longer.)

In the end I hope the murderer/mother will get what she has coming for what she has done.....

Also borrowed a shovel from a neighbor the day she came up missing. From what I heard all signs point to her biological mother. She doesn't deserve a name like mom. :'( No matter how hard it is for someone, why can't they find help? Why can't they drop them off at the hospital or police station? I cry for all these little ones that just think their parents love them. That think they are loved. That just want to smile and play. RIP Kaylee.

I don't watch the news much anymore because of this kind of thing .
It breaks my heart to hear of someone killing a child exspecially if they think a parent has
something to do with it.

I do hope it is Kaylee, because if its not her that means there is another child that has suffered. :'( Also, have the proper burial and she can rest.

It's just awful. I have tried to ignore the reports as much as possible...it makes me physically ill to even hear about it. The person(s) responsible are the scum of the earth.

I do watch the news, however news media shows like Nancy Grace who constantly keep things like this in the forfront get overdone for me and I will usually tune them out, and lots of us may not have cable and local news and world news does not dwell on it so much. Maybe I'm just a simple midwestern girl, but this has not been a top story for 6 months here. I'm always saddend by such stories and now that they have found some remains, I hope they will be able to quickly establish an identity and put an end to this tradgedy for the family.

I know very little about this story and I do watch the news everyday, however, I watch the network news, CBS and NBC.

It is so horribly sad when something happens to a child, how in the world could a mother do something to her own child? It's just unimaginable.

My Mom is 88 years old and watches Nancy Grace. I watched her show a couple times because Mom talks about her constantly. I didn't care for her at all. I will be so glad when this story is over and out of the news, cause it has really been bothering Mom. I imagine it will always be around, just like Anna Nicole Smith.

I don't like her either.

Seems like to me, the older someone is, the more they like NG.
My mom was ranting and raving about her this morning.

(went to her house to get ready for work since the storms knocked out half the power in town, but not at moms)

But then again, the older my mom gets, the radical she is getting in her thoughts, and paranoid.
There are so many conspriacy theories she is coming up with in her mind.

I see this in a lot of people as they age.

I don't like Nancy Grace. I don't like her accusatory tone. I don't like her super-blonde smirk. I don't like her methodoly and sensationalism. She drove one mom to suicide - told her that appearing on the show would help find her little boy, and then accused her of killing him. He showed up later - in California. I see interrogation techniques like that used in the courtroom all the time, and it makes me ill.

I have thought for a long time that Caylee was dead.
I will suspend judgment until we know what happened.

My *guess* is that her mom was there when the child died - but didn't necessarily kill or intend to kill Caylee --- I hope.

We watched a long thing about that last night. There was supposedly Chloroform in the car, evidence of a dead body IN THE CAR, stuff on her computer about "breaking a neck" and a chloroform search. There were videos of her on the phone from jail with her mother and sister. She's cold as ice. There was a guy being interviewed who studies criminal types and says she is the type of a serial killer, no feelings, and some other stuff I don't remember. Trouble is, it may take a while for the DNA to be checked out.

By the way, I think the gallows is too good for the murderer. They should die a lot slower.

Esther, I watched the same program last night. I normally do not stick around with the remote but I could not turn it off after hearing the first couple of sentences. During the month that she did not report her child stolen, she got a tattoo text messaged all of her friends to arrange dates and fun things to do. Never told her new boyfriend that she was going out with about her daughter and actually rented movies at blockbuster the first day she says her daughter was stolen from her. Her and her new man were walking hand and hand through the store looking for movies. She called her daughter the little snotnose while talking to her friends. She added a poem she wrote on her my space page about everyone has a time to die days after her daughter came up missing. Police took her around looking for the babysitter that was said to have been the one to take her. This babysitter never existed on any records at all the different places she led them. She said she needed to pick something up from her work. The police said they would go inside with her while she did it. She walked through the place, got to the end of the hall, then turned and told them she was not telling the truth. She said she actually didn't even work there.
This woman did it and she needs to go to jail forever.
Watch the program if you get a chance and you will see she is cold and has no desire to come clean. With the evidence on her computer, as Esther said, there is no way to think this was an accident. She had planned this for a bit and it seems she followed through.

I think a women's prison would be a good place for her for the rest of her life...where the only bright spot in most of their lives IS their children. Yeah, it won't be pretty for her in prison; wish I felt compassion for her, but it's just not there. $:-\$

I think she should be locked into solitary confinement for the rest of her life, with no TV,
no phone, no books or reading of any type, no music, no internet, no sunlight,
only video screens of Kaylee movies on all 4 walls and the ceiling nonstop 24/7/365, with the volume turned up.

If she's the sociopath she seems to be - that wouldn't be punishment, only boredom.
If she did this hideous crime, and is as lacking in basic emotions as she seems to be - she doesn't need to be on the planet.
She's a good argument for the death penalty.

Well whatever it takes, I hope she doesn't die quickly. IMHO, she needs to suffer. Sociopath or not, there must be some part of her that can hurt. I guess that social punishment isn't meant to get vengeance so it's a good thing I'm not the deciding person in these cases. Funny I'm not a person who normally seeks vengeance but this time-------
