We're having a blizzard here too.

This will make the 3rd layer of snow on the ground.
Totally unheard of here out on the eastern tip of the North Fork of LI.

Yes Joyce, that is why I posted the photo. We have something to look forward too.
Although this is a Mediterranean climate, my garden looks like hell.
Makes one wonder about global warming doesn't it?

Spring is coming slowly and when it get here I have a redo to get after. These are my girls up close. Sunrise and Sunset 29" and 27 ". Cant wait to see them again.

great pictures pondlady, warmed me right up to see the sun shiniing and bare legs.......boy I can't wait for spring either, we got up to 29*F today, so funny to be excited about temps above the teens but it's been sooooo cold here lately and it will be back in the teens and single digits for the weekend.

Never let winter come without the covers. I did once! lost every thing that year. :'(

My ponds are large enough that it would be hard, and costly to cover them, although I have thought about it. It would be great to be able to put a covering that would be tall enough to be able to go in and sit and watch them in the winter

Jerry, how in the world do you keep the turtles from eating everything
in the pond, and the koi from messing in your pots? Here in Tenn.,
any turtles we get eat, and eat, and eat. Have even seen them just
bite the leaves off a longwood, guess just for the heck of it. An
ordinary water lilie, will eat it down to the pot.

Marie, I don't. I just do like nature and have enough for all.
Koi? No Koi here. {nono}They wreck my planters and foul the bottom of the pond with debris.
