Pink Ribbon design
« on: October 20, 2006, 04:01:38 AM »
I felt this design is perfect to represent the new hybrid that Joyce named Pink Ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness.  I've stitched it onto a vest I wear all of the time during the cooler months.

Looks amazing Kat!

How much do you charge for digitizing and per color? We are looking for someone to do the American Ponders caps in a nice embroidery.

Cheers,
Sean

Very nice Kat. That could be the official embroidery design or design for the new water lily and breast cancer awareness movement. I wonder if they have one already.

Thanks ... I hope it helps me & other ladies to remember to get our checkups.  Also for in rememberance & support of those that have fought the battle.  My mom was a survivor for 15 years & then after struggling again with it for several more years we lost her.  November marks 5 years that I've missed Mom, my best friend.

Sean, I've sent you a PM.

Esther, I don't know if they have an official logo or not, but I will discount the sale/stitching of this design to 50% off.

Thanks ... I got a new lily design & decided to go ahead & make it a Pink Ribbon, too.  Stitched it up on a shirt for myself.

Fantastic job.  I would like to learn to do something like that, but I wouldn't even know which is a good machine to buy.

Kat, I thought if they were going to sell it, I would make it up for myself but I bet you kept the copyright or whatever they call it.

I remember back when you were designing it and thought it would be a wonderful link between the lily and breast cancer awareness and it is.

You and Joyce should be proud of your work.

Thanks ... there is no copywrite or anything for what I've done, so anyone with an embroidery machine/software that can do an 8x10 stitchout can buy most of the design from EmbLibrary.  I added the square designs, altered the pink ribbon a bit, & the lettering--all simple digitizing.  It is just a way to have some pretty embroidery & to show my support for Breast Cancer Research.

For those of you that remember I used to sell embroidery, I don't do it anymore.  It just got to be too much of an effort with very little profit for my time involved.  If anyone wants something similiar like this done, I suggest finding a local embroidery shop in your area & ask them how much they'd charge to do it for you.
