Today's garden - 20 Oct
« on: October 20, 2006, 03:27:23 PM »
First pic - in a Mediterranean climate, when lost as what to do, throw tons of geraniums, lantana, and bouganvillea at the problem. Veritable weeds!
Second - there is a banana buried in there somewhere
Third - Pasiflora Belotii gracing the patio
Fourth - View from my kitchen.

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

. . . .continued . . .
First pic - Ligularia (Thank you Mikey) with the bloom I never was expecting.
Scond - Persian Shield (Thank you Jerry) also in unexpected bloom
Third - A nice orange hibiscus, contrasting with a Passiflora Blue Bouquet
Fourth - Good old Angel's Trumpet. (Two of my currently just blooming their heads off)

Now it's time for a beer!

Cheers,

Mike

So many pretties!  Belotii is one of my favorites and mine hasn't bloomed once this year . . . . tried to and the stupid squirrels ate the buds so it just gave up.   I love the orange hibiscus . . . . so pretty!
