I ended up buying Lion Brand Wool Ease for the new Aran Sweater she is knitting me for my birthday. (color: wheat)
I have become horrendously allergic to any wool fiber...so had to go with a mostly synthetic.
And it helps to be machine washable.
Moms coming over for dinner, we'll go yarn shopping online afterwards.

I have two pairs of socks and a sweater for me on the needles.  The socks are all almost finished and the sweater about halfway but I so want to buy some yarn to make this sweater . . . . might just order some nice yarn for it cuz eventually I'm bound to finish what I've got going . . . .

Beautiful sweater Teresa, you could wear that almost year round, depending on how you layer it. 

Are you going with the toggles or something else?

I will alter it and make the sleeves full length.  I haven't decided if it should button from the top all the way down to the bottom, but that's the way I'm leaning.  And probably not the toggle buttons but i dunno.
