Braeden's Wish!
 
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I just say that about Make-a-Wish??!!

Most of you know we were planning to go to Disney. Way back when, we were hoping it would be in February. When it became evident that Bub would not be healthy enough to go, we had to let go of that idea and it was hard, but we gave it up. They didn't give up, though. Together, we did some rethinking. One night in the hospital, Braeden said he wanted a Wii again (we had one in his room for a while when we were in the big room and Dr. Cornelius and Molly taught Bub how to play it!). From there, Make-a-Wish ran with the idea. On Friday, Erica delivered Bub's wish in a big way. A big flat screen tv, a Wii, lots of games, controllers, the Wii wheel, plus a bunch of new DVDs, gifts for all the kids, and even an awesome dinner!!! It was a day not to be missed, and so much more special because it was at HOME. Braeden was amazed, his eyes were absolutely HUGE! He has had a blast playing with the kids, and even enjoys watching them play each other. We are so incredibly thankful for Make-a-Wish and all the wonderful people there who made this happen in such a short amount of time. They are truly a special group!

The Wii is going to be fun for all the kids and I'll bet it'll generate some laughs from everyone when the adults give it a go too!  What a great gift.  I'm so glad that Braeden is able to play it.  Give bowling a try if they have that game Esther.  It'll have you giggling too.    Make-a-wish is a wonderful organization.  emm

Awww, that was so thoughtful of them to bring "everything" to the big boy and the kids, including dinner.    I bet Braeden can't wait to try out all the new toys.  He is such a precious kid.  That was a great pic of him staring at the toys.

Thanks everyone. I talked to the family last night and all of them are enjoying the Wii immensely, even Braeden. We're going up there tonight. Hopefully I'll remember to take my camera.
