Don't even get me started on phones.

I now realize that, as a family, we need phones. Can't stand it when my daughter is at a sleepover and they have no land line. Can't get in touch with her because somebody's phone was off or in a different room.

So you do all this research on the internet- look at ratings- plans- pay as you go- arrgh. ::)  After two hours I come away from it all with no answer!

And yes. One phone somewhere will be half the price of the same phone someplace else. But what do you have to sign up for? What are the strings? What are the rebates? Are the minutes charged for incoming calls, like in pay-as-you-go plans? Is texting included?

I'm way too old for all this.  :doh: ?)(?

I AGREE, SOMETIMES WE ARE DRIVEN CRAZY BY ALL THE HI TECH STUFF AND ALL THE "HOOPS" WE ARE FORCED TO JUMP THROUGH.
Many rebates are never gotten.  They do not make it easy. :-\

Radio Shack is very over priced in this area.   >:(- I found that out the hard way and I've never been back there.   >:(

Not only overpriced!  I returned the phone, unopened within a few hours.   They insisted I can only have a credit!  The web site states "one can return purchases for any reason!"
I called the corporate offices and was told the guy is full of it. "He just wants his commission!"
 My wife paid via a check.  I will stop it this morning.  I told the mgr what good is a credit because I will NEVER buy here again?
I really would like to teach this guy a lesson, a nasty one.
I will let him know his BS policy will cost him dearly. It will, I promise!

In all fairness the guy was helpful and knowledgeable.  A restocking charge would have been OK.
A Master card is the way to go.  You have some protection
I did search the web, there are many stories like mine about Radio Shack {nono}
