Here is the story on this one. Years ago when I was first getting into ponding I created a very small little thing for my mother's friend Dee. As she's at a new house she called again on me to buld and create something for her. Well,.. my pure design was a bit out of budget, so she opted to take a chance on a unknown landscape contractor.
To make a long story longer, the guy messed up severly on the pond he installed,... ummm.. if you could call it a pond.
Tiny little home depot pump..... no filtration... crappy waterfall,... 13inches deep... stone stuck together with liquid nails ?!?!!?? Leaking right out the side ?!?!?? was not even level.. all just slammed together.
WOW !!! i wish I had a picture of what he had done... against what I created.
Got her down to 24 inches deep - 5 foot wide -- 10foot long - small stream.... small bridge --- used an existing waterfeature she had to start the stream,,.............. and wha---laaaaaaaaaaaa !
( that is dee in one pic --- and me in the other )

OK, teeny tiny bridge, but what a great job!
We all seem to have to learn that lesson over and over again, that the low bid is generally never the cheapest.
Cheers,
Mike

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

Very nice. Almost makes me want to tear apart my two ponds that look connected by a boardwalk bridge but aren't. Almost.

Wowee, if you can walk over the bridge even if it is small it works for me!! The scale does fool the eye but it is beautiful work!
