I received this 'small' stimulus package in the first part of April and all were potted using Joyce's Lotus Planting recipe and they are all putting forth new pads and continuing to grow. Its not been so sunny in sunny California, yet, but they have had a few good days to warm up their water and by next week we should be in the 80's. One already has a pad above water, but it has to keep stretching for the sun because of the rain!

I planted two of them together in a 20 gallon tub. The top is about 22 inches wide. Will they be too crowded together?

Hi. They will not be crowded together the first year, but when you go to divde the plants later, in a year or two or three, you will not be able to identify the tubers. All of the plants seem to be doing well. That is wonderful!
