I am going to the orchid show at New York Botanical Gardens tomorrow.  @O@
I feel like a kid, watching the clock. I swear it's slower than usual!  :D

Attending any sort of show or enthusiast's club really gets you jazzed up on the topic.  I do know the feeling.

You had better take a whole bunch of photos!! I've been receiving email from NYBG and feel like I am missing so much whenever great events are planned and I can't attend!!!

OMG, I am green with envy....

After seeing your pics of orchids all these years, I now have an addiction that is bordering close to out of control.  I just ordered a mini-phal and some cymbidiums that I received in excellent condition and have potted them up and and watching them (almost hourly) to see if they like their new home.  I am constantly scouring new spots and available tabletops or now: places to "mount" an orchid. 

My obsession is totally your fault!   >:(   ;)   :D

 Wow  :o  I would have been on sensory overload!  Heck, I am on sensory overload just looking at your pictures.   8-)~

I can't believe I never went to the NYBG after all the time I lived in and visited NYC.  I will make a point to go there next time I am in town.

And the shots of the traffic and roadways sure bring back memories (LIE - BQE).  It's an amazing place.

Nice photos Joyce!  I really like the Vanda and wall of Phals!  My sister lives near the Botanical garden and I've threaten to visit, maybe this will push me to get there.

We stopped in and saw the show again today on the way home from a weekend upstate in Delhi.
Was a LOT more crowded today but at least Jamie got to see it and go to the giftshop and get a trinket or 2.  8)
