Garden Art?

I did this thing close to 40 years ago.  A friend loved it so I let them have it.  The deal was..."You can't sell it or give it away. but if you no longer want it, just give it to me."
I built a frame and will hang it tomorrow.
They did.  A few Pieces fell off over the years, but easily fixed.  It will hang on a bare patio wall.
Like it or not, it is unusual!

Thanks LuAnn.  It will have overhad protection.  This is California, so it won't be too bad.
I may spray clear varnish over it, or Polyurathane.
I was in a Class at Pierce College.  It was voted the best of the semester. (thata was 35 yrs ago)
I will take a photo of it up. assuming I can find the stud!

Esther I measured 16" centers and missed by one inch. Not too bad.  You are too kind o(:-)

I watched "Curb Appeal" today and darned if they didn't do  a smaller edition of this sort of thing.
They painted it black.  I like the natural wood.
