Hi Lawanna.  I'm interested in the Black Magic and Truffles.  P.S.  Don't tell my wife and I want it sent by a flock of birds.  {:-P;;

What does one do with Taro's if they have cold winters? I would hate to just lose them as they are lovely. If I could figure out a way to save them I would get some too.

i think they make nice house plants if you pot them up and put them near your doorway or something

well i know that the elephant ear..aka taro- is like a land plant too.. just gotta keep it watered... i know alot of aquaruim plants from pet something that had leaves i potted up and they are growing on kitchen window... one is like a varigated arrowhead type... and most of my taro is potted up and just sits maybe quarter of inch beneath water level so i would think it would grow potted and wet just fine.

My pond is in full sun all day so would this be a problem with Taro's?

Michelle I do have a couple blackstems now if you wanted to place that order for the 4...idividually they are $5 each...so its really alot cheaper to buy the package...JW-in the winter you can store them indoors-either let them dry out or keep them growing as houseplants...I have customers who do both--if you keep them growing don't water them too much..or they will rot..they do just fine in sun-I grow some in full sun and I grow some in dappled shade--I've found no difference.....I grow mine in pots or in the ground (and left some in the ground last year to see if they would return-so far the violet stem and Chicago Harlequin are returning-I'm still on the look out to see if the imperial and Nancy's revenge will do the same) and not in the pond but, Colocassia can be grown in the pond if you like..Alocasia can't..most of the ones I have posted are Colocassia...
