i tried posting this once already and it said i posted it already but i can't seem to find it.
i haven't posted many pictures of myself anywhere because i was ashamed of how much weight i had gained and how i looked and felt. i turned over a new leaf when i divorced my husband nearly two years ago. i have lost over 125 pounds. it has taken a lot of determination and hard work and exercise to get to this point. i still have a ways to go, but i will get there baby. this picture was taken today after i got home from getting my hair cut, colored and highlighted. it was my first time for highlights. i love it!

thanks for all the kind words. stuff like that spurs me on with even more determination. so thanks a bunch. you are so right, life does begin at fifty. i will turn 51 this year and getting older is something i have never been afraid of. life...bring it on baby.

New leaves are so life-expanding, aren't they? At a more mature age, you have the experience and focus and hutzpa to know what you want, and to go after it. Family Circle magazine this month has an article on 5 women who have done similar things.
