My new Settlement pond, lotus pond and lily pond
« on: May 05, 2009, 08:11:57 PM »
woohooo... I finally got the pumps out of my pond.  They were taking up a good 3 feet of good lily space.  So I dug a settlement pond and moved them into that.  I could not use my little dock I had before cause it was to small so I had to make it more like a deck.  What type furniture do yall think would look good there to keep the perspective right.

Also see if you can find the old lotus coming up in the new lily pond . I pulverized that dirt after I had removed every tuber I could find and still a few made it

You certainly were very busy!  Where's the picture of the good work?  Need reference for the deck furniture.

Your settlement chamber & deck is a great solution.  I'd put whatever chairs are the most comfortable there.  ;)

I love that chair front-and-center on the deck.  It's kind of like a Command Center!

Did you do this all by yourself? It is superb  :2thumbs: If I knew what I was doing I would try and tackle something like this myself but I wouldn't know where to begin  :search:

Very nice Tink, your ponds look like nature created them, which I think is the hardest thing to accomplish with liner ponds. So laid back and relaxing, for visitors that is, I can imagine how much work you have done over the years to make it so inviting. Tom

Wow! Looks awesome!

I too thought the chair was too big - but in that case, as thing grow in - it works! I'd leave a nice big chair there!

Fantastic.  O0  @O@  @O@  @O@

I'd love to get the pump out of my pond, I hate looking at it but I don't have room to build any additions like that.

I was really pushing it for room.  The spond really needed to be bigger but even if it doesnt act like a spond should, the pumps are out of the big.

jw.... I did it with the help of MCP from the forum.  I would have never known how to do it.  His directions were the key in getting it done!

Leave it to Tink to conquer the situation. I also agree that the chair is too large for the area. Small would be better but might not be so comfortable. Do you really sit there or are the chairs more for looks? Would a love seat type thing work?
