It's a wild flower that grows in the high desert here in E Washington. My DH has picked them for me every spring since we've been married. It's so sweet!!

Lovely pics especially of your oh so cute grandson. Nice to see another person from the great state of Washington too. We are thinking of moving to the east side sometime maybe when DH retires. What's the dirt like over there for digging ponds? Well isn't that one of the most important factors?
