Red squirmy worms in my plant bucket
« on: May 08, 2009, 06:21:33 AM »
I cant get yall a picture but they are around an inch long and in my bucket that I grow my extra plants in. I also have some polly wogs in there. Could they be blood worms? I feed freeze dried blood worms as a treat. Thats the only reason I ask. If they are... will they hurt my fish?

Yes they could be and no they won't hurt the fish. They will likely eat them.

Cool I was worried about transferring the plants to my pond and getting a new infestation of parasites. Maybe I'll just toss a few small goldies in there to clean them out!

Blood worms aren't they. I didn't look at the youtube thing but most anything can bite but how often do we have worms bite? Anyway, we have had them several times and I pick them up and throw them to the fish. Don't worry about them.
