Yesterday while in the gardening center of my local home depot I ran across a preformed water fall just the right size for my pond I picked it up expecting to sadly give it back if it was over 50 dollars. It wound up being 11 buck-a-roonies!!!! so now I have what looks like a 3 ft long 1 ft wide tiny preformed black pond with a part where the water runs out. I bought some dirt to build it up with can I just pile the dirt and set it on top? run the hose from the pump under the soil and hide the electrical cord too the same way. Thats the plan so far any ways. will it work? or will I need liner or something?
