To early for snow on pond. 10-28-06
« on: October 29, 2006, 07:57:04 AM »
This is how the pond looked this morning when I woke up. To early for snow in Pa. >:( I need to get the rest of flowers cut back. Hope we have better weather in the Northeast than we have had in the month of October. Don't need any more rain, snow, and cold for awhile.Makes me wish I lived some where warmer where could have a longer ponding season. Hope you enjoy.  o(

As you know, Oct. is an up and down month weather wise. We had your junk last week, now it's going to be in the uppper 50s today and 60s tomorrow. Should be heading your way O0
Enjoy it when it gets there.
I'm doing my last yard and pond clean up today.

No snow here yet but we had an wild rain storm yesterday with high winds. The power was out for several hours. One tree down and lots of branches. The pond is fine. Good thing the net is on as lots of leaves were blowing around. Sun is out today but still windy. Hope your weather improves and you get a chance to get your plants cut back. Good luck :).

Hey, MCP,
I might have had a chuckle out of your new weather if we hadn't had a couple inches of the white stuff over the past couple days.  You are likely to lose it for a while at least; no respite in sight here though.  I think we are going nowhere but down :(
Keep smilin'

What is that white stuff on your lawn in October? Even those of us who are totally spoiled recognize that this is way too early. Actually, we should have had some rain by now, but it has been a long dry season thus far - am living with a hose in my hands.

Cheers.

Mike
