There is a mystery on Dana st.!  Well, probably a 'coon, but drama's more fun  lol  After I got home from work yesterday, I took a peek around the yard and ponds as I was walking to the house.  I noticed the white lotus tuber from Tink floating oddly in it's container.  After getting into my 'play clothes', I picked it up so I could replant it.  At this point I thought maybe the rock had shifted and the tuber floated up.  Once I had the tuber in hand, I saw what looked lke a chewed up portion!  I'm thinking someone wanted to try the salad and spit it out.  I hope the poor thing lives!  It was just starting to get going.  At least it wasn't the other one - I'd cry!  We'll see how she does!

Opossums and squirrels will also eat plants. A inquisitive dog or cat might even try it. Look for tracks. :)
Happy ponding,

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.
