We had two sets of tenants leave one of our duplexes within 10 days of each other. One side was back in action in two weeks but the other is having the bathroom totally stripped and redone so it has been about three weeks since they moved out. I do the painting and touch up around, minor repairs on cupboard doors and drawer guides and rollers, scrubbing what needs scrubbing, and landscaping work. I worked on the windows to repair the screens and storms and make sure the windows are working correctly. I do what I call fididdly stuff. I go after the stains in the carpet, patch or wood putty the holes in wood or drywall. I have lined all the drawers and under the sinks with self stick vinyl tile. It makes it look better, is easier to clean, and protects the wood surfaces.
