Ooo that bad bad Rad Michelle sent me an Albert Greenberg so swollen with seven fat buds, so distended with more than a dozen 14” pads that its pendulous root ball wouldn’t even fit in the Dixie cup planned for my short season pond.

Big Al started blooming the very next morning, after it was potted in a 2 g set inside a half barrel with an aquarium heater and all of the above set in the lily pond. (More have opened since this picture.)

She also sent me an Attraction so chubby it may need to go to Jenny Craig (also bloomed the next day), a large Texas Dawn, and Parrots Feather and Water Lettuce as lagniappe.

Seriously, folks, don’t buy from Rad Michelle if you enjoy nursing a waterlily infant through the summer hoping to see a bloom before frost. I’m tellin’ you, she’s B-A-A-A-A-D.
