Gorgeous. I love Yucatan, have been 4 times. Your pond reminds me of a small cenote.

Hi Robie, Very nice home you have made for your Dora the turtle  O0 I love turtles and had five of them when I was a little kid. They were just little babies they used to sell at the pet stores. I made and outdoor little pond for them and an enclosure. I thought I would put some tadpoles in just for fun and watch them grow into frogs. Uh oh that was a mistake.............turtles liked it very much and they chased the tadpoles and tried to eat them up. I fed my turtles raw hamburger and lettuce and some kind of turtle food after that and no more tadpoles as swimming buddies  {nono}

Dora is beautiful! and your pond too.  I can't keep water hyacinth alive in my pond, I just got another plant to try again but it all died before.  I think the PH is too high.

Anyway, beautiful pond.  I'm in Mérida too.

Your pond is beautiful, and I LOVE your turtle.  Dora looks very healthy and well-cared for!

I especially like the nymphea your mom gave to you.  Nice work Robie!  O0

Yes Robie, send me the link.  Is this the foro el estanque?  Howell sent me a link to that last year and my spanish was not good enough, I may try again.

If these lilies I have survive I will be happy to share with you, Howell and Jorge (Isais).   Have you been out to Hacienda Xcanatun?  They have some beautiful ponds and koi but all in shade.  I also saw a Great Blue Heron there when we first arrived  {nono}

Jonna I have no idea where that hacienda is at.
As a matter of fact I've never been that south well, I've never even been to Veracruz, the most farest away as I've been south may be Guadalajara.
But hope some day I will see cancun and yucatan as I always hear from others how beautiful it is.
I've been farther north. lol
