I will thanks in advance, BTW I do not think my pond will handle with the paraguitas since it has round edges and so we can't place any of those bog plants.

I loved your post on building your pond, I didn't read all 103 pages though!! I can understand most of what I read so that was great. I wish I had known you were having a meet-up, I would have come along. Also, I have as many mollies in different colors as you want, just let me know what color and how many, we have hundreds.

I am trying now to figure out how big a pump I will need for the inside pond. My head hurts from thinking about it.

No, the 2 ponds will be separate. I wanted the inside pond as an aquarium with Chiclids and ferns and orchids growing above it. It has to be mostly torn up now though, it just won't work the way it is.

I would love to come to the next meet-up, I will watch for it on your post at El Estanque. I just don't write Spanish well enough to contribute there - I don't speak it well enough either to be honest. I see all these Argentinos y Españoles and I am afraid to try.

You know, in any country ponders are the nicest people! I truly believe that. It was wonderful to meet Robie, his wife and gorgeous girls. We had a great time looking at fish, catching a few and trading plants. We went back and forth between 2 languages and mainly we all spoke Pond-ish.

Here's another pic of all of us.

As usual, there was controlled chaos at my house, that's my architect in the background on the phone. They are working on some drainage problems discovered in these last big rains. Never a dull moment here. I was thrilled to meet Robie and his family and I'm excited to find that there are lots of ponders here in Merida. What fun!

Mimi is my partner of 18 years Howell. Here's a pic of her looking at the pond yesterday.

I'm so happy that the pond is clear now. We even saw both of the plecos swimming so they are both alive and healthy. We really enjoy watching the fish now that we can see them
