I have never posted pictures before, so hopefully it will work.  The first picture is of my pond.  I still haven't finalized the pots location, currently it is on a shallow ledge inside the pond.  It is a cracked pot from Lowes, it is flat on the side.  It is run by a solar pump, so it only runs when the sun is shining.  I have also posted a couple of other's I found when I was getting ideas for mine.

I will take pictures and post them later.  I can get a lot more from looking at pictures than I can from reading sometimes.

Which pump did you order from e-bay?  I have ordered pumps from e-bay and they really don't give you the flow you would probably want for this type of fountain.  Mine is currently running on a 400 gph solar pump.

My pot had a hole in the bottom of it just the right size for the hose coming from the pump.  I ran it in quite a few inches and then placed stones in the pot to somewhat hide the hose and give it a good flow.  I'm running a 1800gph pump.  The lilies have filled in nicely this year and you can't see the hose at all in the back.  I have to take mine in for the winter as it gets very cold here and it would crack.  Last year got it in a little late and did loose a little chunck on the lip but not bad.
